Manufacturing sustainable products for lower carbon emissions
Cellulose Material Solutions, LLC (“CMS”) manufactures innovative products for some of the most sophisticated designs in today’s world. Our products are true performers for many or most applications where thermal or acoustical performance is important. Whether it is a sound recording studio, climate controlled packaging or to deaden road noise, CMS has a material to provide a solution for specific designs.
Factor in the green components of at least 70% recycled and renewable fibers, low embodied energy, and potential product recyclability, CMS products are the new material standard in the marketplace.
Our History
2006
CMS was founded by the Henderson family as a sister company to their established cellulose insulation manufacturing company, Nu-Wool Co., Inc. The emphasis for the founding of the business was to focus on diversification and creating highly sustainable products by employing industry-leading technology and customer service.
2009
CMS creates and trademarks its first product line! ECOCELL batt and blanket insulation materials become an industry’s first cellulose-based batt and blanket insulation.
In the same year, CMS created a revolutionary line of cellulose and recycled fiber based architectural acoustic products.
2012
With quality and customer service as two of its corporate values, CMS becomes an ISO 9001 accredited manufacturer.
2010-2019
CMS continues to innovate new sustainable products made with high percentages of recycled fiber for applications ranging from insulated and protective packaging, industrial absorbents, architectual acoustical panels, as well as acoustical materials for OEM automotive and office furniture manufacturers.
August 2021
InfinityCore becomes a patented product.
Patent # US PAT. NO. 11,078,007.
2021
CMS installs new machinery allowing CMS to recycle waste products from its manufacturing process back into new products. This is another example of CMS investing in innovative technologies to grow its commitment to recycling and sustainability.

Our Pledge to Protect the Planet
Recycling Since 1949
Our family of companies have been a part of the recycling industry since 1949. Collectively Nu-Wool Co., Inc and Cellulose Material Solutions recycle over 65 million pounds of fibers and paper particles a year with the capacity to recycle much more. Recycling is crucial in the environmental impact we create and our focus is to continue expanding the circular marketplace with additional recycled products.
Protecting Our Environment
Our team is passionate about creating end markets for recycled fibers. We turn what would have been waste into premium products that are good for the environment, your business, products and customers. For example, 1 square foot of an InfinityCore liner prevents 5 plastic water bottles from entering a landfill or waterway. Protecting our waterways one plastic liner at a time!
The Full Package of Sustainability
When it comes to packaging, we focus on the environment by sustaining your pay load. Spoiled or damaged products have a larger waste impact on our world than many companies realize. When we talk sustainability, we look at how our products were sourced, manufactured, and shipped. Finally, we look at how they perform during their useful life and how they can recovered after it is over.
Zero manufacturing Waste
All our products are recyclable back into our own lines in our mission to zero manufacturing waste. The products manufactured by CMS have also passed multiple sets of industrial recycling tests to show how they can be recycled curbside or by recycling facilities.
